Welcome to the exciting world of Medieval Studies!

Here at NUI Galway a you may study a variety of Medieval topics, from French literature to palaeography, from the Crusades to Irish bee laws!

This interdisciplinary programme incorporates elements from the the fields of Classics, History, French, English, German, Italian, Celtic Studies and Archaeology offering any student the ability to expand their knowledge in their chosen field of research and expolre other fields to create a greater over-all understanding of the era.

A modest library is provided by the Depts of Classics and History, providing students with alternate, specific, older, and often more obscure, titles not found in the Hardiman Library.
